Worcester Woodland Explorers!

We are Worcester Woodland Explorers - a popular and well-respected Woodland Business, set in a beautiful and magical forest clearing. We welcome parents and children of all ages to come and explore our natural surroundings, immerse themselves in nature and take part in a huge range of forest-based activities. We recommend that children can walk/toddle before joining us in the woods for our 'Stay and Play' sessions, but all ages are welcome. We welcome you to come for a taster session first. Children should always be accompanied by an adult for the whole session

Spring Term 2026

Our Spring Term leads up to Easter and starts back on Monday 12th January. We are now taking bookings for the first half term which is Monday 12th January till Friday 13th February 2026. This is 5 weeks and £42.50 for the half term.

We currently run sessions for 1 hour 15 minutes on the following days and times:

Monday 10.00am-11.15am

Tuesday 10am-11.15am and

Friday 10.15am-11.30am

We charge £8.50 per session (£4.50 for a sibling) when 3 or more are booked together as a block. We also offer one off visits and full term bookings. We encourage childminders to join us with a great discount. Just email us for more details.

January 2025 announcement

We have been so lucky to be awarded a third lottery bid which has secured the building of our new Basecamp Pagoda Shelter called our 'Buzzing Basecamp'. This will means less drips as our parachute was getting a little bit old.

January 2024 announcement

We are delighted to let you know that the Charitable Arm of ‘Worcester Woodland Explorers’ was successful in obtaining a second consecutive Grant from the National Lottery!

So alongside our beautiful Woodland Lodge, we now have had a wooden toilet block, new wooden gates, a log store and large painting frames built, which we are incredibly grateful for as well as benefiting groups of children without outdoor space to come and use our forest for sessions.
